Before You Start Your Application
Dear Applicant,
To ensure a smooth and successful application process, please prepare clear scanned copies or visible photos of the following required documents before you begin:
Passport-size photograph or selfie
CNIC (Front side)
CNIC (Back side)
Important Prerequisites
Before starting your application, please make sure that you meet all the following conditions:
Mobile Number:
You must have a mobile number registered under your CNIC. This will be used for verification and all future communication.
References:
Prepare the names, CNIC copies, and mobile numbers of two references (they must not be your blood relatives).
Tax Status:
You must be an active tax filer at the time of applying.
Business Financial Details:
For new businesses, you will need to provide estimated monthly income, expenses, and other projected earnings.
For existing businesses, you must enter actual monthly financial data.
Proof of Address:
Keep one of the following documents ready for both business and residential addresses, whichever applies:
Rent Agreement
Property Transfer Letter
Registry Document
Utility Bill
Application Criteria:
Ensure that you fully meet the eligibility criteria before submitting your form.
Application Fee:
Make sure you have the required non-refundable application fee available before submission.
Security Details:
For Logistics-related loans, no security is required.
For Tier 2 (T2) loans, prepare details of the security you can offer (such as Property Transfer Letter, Registry, Fard, or Government Securities).
Submitting Your Application
When you are ready to apply, please follow these steps carefully:
Sign Up First:
You must create an account (sign up) to start your online application.
Registered Mobile Number:
Only a mobile number registered under your CNIC can be used to sign up and receive updates.
Time Required:
The application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete if you have all documents ready.
Save Drafts:
You can either complete the form in one sitting or save it as a draft and return later to finish it.
Upload Supporting Documents:
Upload all relevant files such as financial statements, business feasibility reports, or last 6 months’ bank statements.
The more details you provide, the faster your application can be processed.
Processing Begins After Submission:
Processing of your application will start only after the full form is submitted and the application fee is paid.
Application Fees
Tier Description Fee (PKR) Refundable
Tier 1 (T1) Small-scale applicants 5,000 ❌ Non-Refundable
Tier 2 (T2) Medium/large-scale applicants 10,000 ❌ Non-Refundable
Once you submit the application, a PSID (Payment Slip ID) for the fee will appear on your screen.
Application Tracking
You will receive SMS notifications at every stage of your application.
You can also check your application status online at any time on the official portal.
Additional Notes on Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
As per compliance and due diligence standards, all applicants are screened for PEP status.
Definition of a PEP
A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) is someone who currently holds or has previously held a prominent public position domestically, internationally, or within an international organization.
This includes:
Foreign PEPs: Heads of State or Government, senior politicians, senior officials (government, judiciary, or military), senior executives of state-owned corporations, and key political party officials.
Domestic PEPs: Senior politicians (MNAs, MPAs, Ministers, etc.), senior government, judicial, or military officials (Lt. General or equivalent and above), senior executives of state-owned corporations, and major party officials.
International Organization PEPs: Senior managers or persons with equivalent high-level functions in international organizations.
Middle- or lower-ranking individuals are not classified as PEPs.
Close Associates of a PEP
“Close associate” refers to any individual who:
Has joint ownership in a company or legal arrangement with a PEP;
Holds ownership of an entity created for the benefit of a PEP; or
Is closely connected to a PEP socially or professionally.
Family Members of a PEP
Includes:
Spouse
Parents, children, or siblings
Lineal ascendants and descendants
Beneficial Owner
A beneficial owner is any individual who ultimately owns or controls a business or financial transaction, as defined under Section 2(iv) of the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010.
